About your investments

Your plan includes a diverse investment lineup, representing a spectrum of asset classes and risk/return characteristics that allow you to tailor your account to help meet your financial goals and investment style.

Fund Fact Sheets are available via the links on this page. They provide details about each fund’s performance, fees, and underlying investments. Star or asterisk at the end of the fund name indicates a registered mutual fund.

Strategies to support your unique investing style

The TDA Plan offers several ways to help you diversify:

  1. GoalMaker®, an optional asset allocation program that helps you choose a mix of investments based on your investor style and years to retirement.

  2. Target Date Funds
Target Date Funds do the asset allocation for you and one fund may be all you need to achieve a savvy asset allocation strategy tailored to your specific objective. The funds are professionally managed, diversified investments, meaning investing in only one LifePath fund can provide a robust investment solution.

Step 1: Determine the year you would like to retire.

Step 2: Choose the Target Date Fund closest to the year you would like to retire.

The target-date is the approximate date when investors plan to retire and may begin withdrawing their money. The asset allocation becomes more conservative as the fund nears the target retirement date; however, the principal value of the fund is never guaranteed.

  3. Do it yourself. This may be a good choice if you have the time and expertise to choose your own investments.
